TheBangladesh Model Youth Parliament is strong platform for young people in Bangladesh to express mandate of developing innovative ventures by minds, facilitating leadership skills and thinking power and increasing awareness on issues of local, national and global importance amongst young people. The Model Youth Parliament is a not for profit, non political, support and learning platform committed to developing the uninhibited expression of young people with the aim of sustaining a platform that enables young people to be effective and expressive agents of change which created by youth to raise their collective voices to the members of the highest Policy Making Body of the Government and civil societies. It is a chance to be heard at the highest levels of Government on a wide range of issues relevant to young people's lives.
Goal: To instill an understanding of parliament structure into the youth, and provide them the opportunity to influence the country's policy through direct dialogue between youth and policy makers.
Mission: To empower youths by locally engaged and young leadership development through parliamentary practice.
Vision: Young people in Bangladesh take an active role in public and political life through a strong, effective, Connecting Youths Nationwide through representation and high-profile Youth Parliament.
Outcome:

Working process::
A two-daylong youth parliament session will begin in the Barisal city with participation of nearly 200 youths delegates across Barisal division to raise voice for rights of youth and about local-national public impotent issues.
Number: Bangladesh Model Parliament is a platform of young people from 16 up to 26 years age. It represents Youth from all corner of society – from rural and urban areas, illiterate and littered physically challenged youth, youth of living in the slum or colony, ethnic, minority groups and Common Gender. Youth Parliament is consists of members 150 from Barisal division . The Model Youth Parliamentarians are selected by youth of all educational institution, city corporation area and union Parishad . BMYP comprises of one Speaker, one Deputy Speakers, and some cabinet member including Advisers. It also has a core steering committee of 11 members. The selected members underwent a training process before the session. Selected youth members attended a two-day training session which concluded with the pilot youth parliament session. The training session will conduct by parliament experts on parliamentary debate, rules of procedure and behavior, ethical leadership, effective communication, participation and advocacy, team building and dialogue.
