Overview ::
This program will create a deep impact to policymakers to think newly and take some innovative initiatives. We will cover Barisal division. Youth representatives will be beneficiary, they will represent their own constituency by their speech. We can discover new idea, new concept to develop our Bangladesh. Their experience, ability will enhance and he/she will be able to change thinking pattern. After this event BMYP will make a strong network and make a bridge with them, we will provide them all kind of support to become a entrepreneur and Active citizen. This program enhances their leadership quality. We will engage media, social network sites for campaign and branding. We will promote our sponsor brand in our all campaign and advertisement of the event. This youth parliament is the pathway towards national parliament making new policies for the next generation. Youth parliament enables young man to be active in public-political debate and policy making in a systematic approach.
The Model Youth Parliaments will be an excellent opportunity to acquire or improve upon many skills such as public speaking, debate, presentation, research and organizational skills which will hugely contribute to personal and professional growth of an individual. If we are to list out the probable objectives of organizing a Youth Parliament, then it is to inform participants about the democracy and to demonstrate how Parliaments are able:
· to make legislation
· to debate matters of local, national and international concern;
· to demand accountability from those in power in government;
Hence to briefly list down the purposes of Bangladesh Model Youth Parliament:
· To make students understand the parliamentary procedure.
· To develop in students an insight into the workings of the Bangladesh National Parliament .
· To make students consider public issues and form their opinion on them.
· To train students in the technique of group discussion and inculcate group behavioral ethics.
· To develop in students an ability to arrive at a decision after group discussion.
· To develop them in them respect and tolerance for the views of others.
· To develop in them an understanding that respect for rules is essential for conducting any discussion systematically and effectively.
· To make students aware of various problems facing our society and the country.
· To develop in students the quality of leadership.
· To make students understand the common man’s point of view and express it in an articulated manner.
